Welcome back to the new season of following Leeds United. Having been resigned to our play off defeat very quickly, I was full of hope for the new season but then became very disillusioned and very down once the club sold Archie Gray and we were told we were not welcome to follow our club on the preseason tour to Germany. I had to take a back step for the good of my health but the one thing that always has a great impact on my wellbeing, is being back amongst our fans. It was great to see everyone and have time to chat. It was also good to be welcomed at friends near the ground whose hospitality was great, and I appreciate the time spent with them.
I was very surprised to see the first team playing as I'd been expecting the U21 team so that was a nice boost and as it was more of a training exercise, I won’t delve into the game too much. After the tour in Germany, we have a home friendly against Valencia before the season starts with our home game to Portsmouth.
See you there, LUFC – Marching on Together!
